Just seen this on eBay:

That's a hell of a long address isn't it? :eek: Anyway, looks like a nice Goldie, all original from what I can see. But the serial number should begin with L, but it's a six digit number instead. Anyone know why? Did the factory turn out any rosewood board Goldies with numbers like that? Or should we assume that the neckplate was swapped with a maple board Goldie?

I won't be buying, I already have a black Goldie, I'm just curious, that's all.

Well, everything except the serial number looks ok to me. It's probably a TST-50 that got an AST/TST-40 neck plate by mistake. The six digit serial number was used on those. The serial number on my AST-40 is a six digit number starting with 2.
