Has anyone noticed the quilted OBG LPS currently on ebay? I have never seen an OBG with that kind of neck joint. Can anyone shed some light? I dont want to post the listing as I am not sure how the seller would appreciate it...

Just post and don't worry , we all do it , easier to reply with pics. Not all OBG's had a long neck tenon, i had a wine red one without the tenon and she was a beauty...

It's all simply explained. Terada made all the OBG's from 1988 up to mid/late 1992 and also the K Orvilles from 1989 up till 1993 and all of them have 3 different types of tenon. Long, long medium and medium. Fujigen came along and started making OBG's in mid/late 1992 and they took over making Orvilles from Terada in 1993 which is when the K Orvilles end and all the Fujigen ones have long tenons. Different guitar factories make guitars in slightly different ways. Quite a lot of the early Terada made OBG's do not have long tenons.

Thanks guys. Here is the link to the pix. Laminate top for sure?
