The SC-2C doesn't look like any Gibson... so I wonder if a letter came from Collings. From what I've learned to date, less than a hundred SC-2 and -2Cs were shipped to the U.S., even though far more were ordered by dealers after the big intro at NAMM 2007. One dealer told me that word came from Tokai ... "no longer available", even before the preorders were filled.
Anyone know any more of Tokai's abandonment of its re-entry to the US market?
