I was surfing the web in search of Tokais when I found something new going on at http://www.tokaiguitars.com

TokaiGuitars.com now points toward the Tokai factory site. The folks at Pete's Tradingpost gave the URL over to Tokai on their own accord. Don't have much more information that that unfortunately.
