Thanks Bart, will try to translate...very cool thanks :D

Lookie here: http://www.fernandes.co.jp/others/catalog.html

Looks like the 79 catalogue may be the one I need to see.All versions shown have no p/u cover on 6 string.Info from prior owner says only swapped out pup, came original with covers :-?

Guitar has arrived.Surprised it has a serial no. 73007.Does this indicate its a 1977 or 1973 :-? .Prior owner stated VH1 pups, can anyone tell from pictures?Would sure appreciate any info someone may have.Body is 3 pice/necks are straight.Other than single coil installed it seems to be all original

Sorry can't tell you anything about it other than it's cool as F*** but you knew that

Nice guitar Im jealous!!

Thanks John, cant seem to put her down.Action sweet on both necks :D surprisingly light too, expected an anchor........m.i.j. even up close hard to tell if first digit is 1 or 7 but from catalogues I have seen the 81 had open coil pups on 6 string :-?.

I agree looks like 81 even in additional photo .Top of 1 has dark finish spot which was deceiving

Turns out the burny needs new toggle switches.Tried all the normal supply houses and no luck.Even called gibson and was told the neck selector is proprietary and would not name vendor  they did say the pickup selector was standard right angle toggle, but the original has 4 posts for input of p/ups and 2 out. I believe standard has 2 and 2.Does any one know if that matters or maybe where I can buy exact replacements

The short 12 headstock and neck volutes make this a less attractive option... looks like they copied the 70's Gibson 6/12 rather than Jimmy's earlier model?
