Looks like the 79 catalogue may be the one I need to see.All versions shown have no p/u cover on 6 string.Info from prior owner says only swapped out pup, came original with covers

Guitar has arrived.Surprised it has a serial no. 73007.Does this indicate its a 1977 or 1973 .Prior owner stated VH1 pups, can anyone tell from pictures?Would sure appreciate any info someone may have.Body is 3 pice/necks are straight.Other than single coil installed it seems to be all original

serial # looks like it starts with a 1, which I believe would designate a 1981 model

Thanks John, cant seem to put her down.Action sweet on both necks surprisingly light too, expected an anchor........m.i.j. even up close hard to tell if first digit is 1 or 7 but from catalogues I have seen the 81 had open coil pups on 6 string .

I agree looks like 81 even in additional photo .Top of 1 has dark finish spot which was deceiving
