That's a 40 series the machines and the pick-ups with the bar magnets tell the tail. I have the same color AST 62' from Japan that I bought new in 85'. Most guys change those Pickups, I have a bag full of them! Don't get me wrong ...thats a nice Tok just an entry level begging for upgrades! MH

Would you play it in a bar in Austin?

OK, maybe Austin is quite laid back - what about a small town in Texas?

check this one out - and note the candlesticks in the background.

Maybe someone here collects/plays only pink Tokai's ... could be the start of something?

Would you play it in a pub in Canning Town LOL !

I could imagine what the response would be if the Bridge House in Canning Town was still about and you opened a set up wearing that around your neck

The Bridge House - now that is going back a long way.......

Soon to be part of the Olympic site I suppose?

Hallo Tokaiguy,

thank you for your reply!
What pickups would you recommend?
What would a fair price for this guitar?

Best Regards,
Duck
