That's not an original head stock. If you look at the front close up, you'll see the ghost imprint of a name. This looks like a modified Hagstrom headstock........it also has the Imperial tuners found on Hagstroms. With the black paint on the front, back and at the neck join, I'd bet money that this was a headstock replacement for one broken off.

$2100? Give me a break (pardon the pun but I couldn't help myself  )

Yes, the stinger on the back is suspicious for a repair, but I look closely and the wood grain looks continuous.

If it is a new headstock grafted on, it was done without much evidence.

Actually, I believe this is a fairly serious seller. Just wonder why he doesn't ship to France....

anyway: broken necks is what you get when you put guitars in front of cars,... :D

Maybe it's the same guitar?

It sure looks like a Tokai with the build features, but is it really a Tokai if it says Hagstrom on the headstock?

Hi Roger - didn't know he was banned. I just checked his ratings...

Anyway: he probably should be banned for selling this thingy as a Tokai.

Cheers! Rupert

He should be banned for putting pictures of that monstrosity on the Internet!!

Looks like the work of a skilled luthier with Altzheimer's disease.

He'll probably list the Hagstrom next with the Tokai headstock grafted on.
