**SIGH**...not many youtube links ppl...that's half the fun.
Posting the tunes you listen to and then turning ppl onto them :p

I just heard Joan Armatrading's I Love It When You Call Me Names while I was in a shop with Adrian Belew's great outside playing at the end of the song.
I think he uses Transistor Amps which I don't think I could do but he gets a good sound out of them.

I used to use tube amps always.
Marshalls...Laney's...Boogie.
The last few years I've owned a Marshall Valvestate and currently a transistor B52.(they also make tube amps).
I need a totally clean channel for my modeling effect and a tube amp always colours the clean channel too much for my liking.
Adrian Belew does a similar thing in that he uses the clean channel and adds his effects to it....nothing like having a clean palet from which to start.

Joni Mitchell - Coyote ; Joni said that Jaco was the first bass player who didn't put fences across her music. And was probably right.
