Hiya
i try this about once every 2 years so here we go again.....
I really want a v-profile neck older tokai strat (trying to replace what was stolen from me 10 years ago)
I dont mind goldstar if its the right headstock <= '84 (in fact ive never seen v-neck springy)
I have a gorgeous blue springy I can use in the trade if anyones interested (C-neck though and i dont really like the slim necks)

Springy Sound ST-80 & ST-100s from '79 - 1981 should be V profile necks (quite a 'hard' V).
I have an ST-80 & it's quite a handful, but very comfortable when you get used to it, & especially on long gigs...
There were a couple on eBay last week, one sold (ST-85, extra '5' was for custom colour - in this case it was a natural finish) and one didn't get any bids, so it be could re-listed at a lower price, or may be worth contacting the seller : -

Good luck!

I just bought an '80 ST-80 CAR Springy with a really chunky V-neck from togps last weekend at the Soave festival. Absolutely amazing beast.
I am not 100% sure, but I think he has one more in SB.

And by the way: the ST80 listed at
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330111624117
did not get any bids from me (altough I tried) because the seller banned me from his auctions after I asked about details on an 85' LC he is also selling. I posted his reply in this forum.
By now I reported him to ebay for discrimination. Altough he is registered in Switzerland he sells at ebay.co.uk, which is INSIDE the EU, where such behaviour is against the law unless a buyer doesn't pay. |

that I only want a maple fretboard
(well neck without the rosewood board)
that 85 looked nice and I would have bought it had i seen it - damn
except that I have owned many many tokais and never seen a natural finish on a strat or tele (that hadnt been done afterwards)
- if you guys see any more (maple where the fingers go) please shout
or sell me yours
