Which one would you have 83 TSS or 79 TSS?

Hi there just want to get someone's opinion on owning a 83 Tokai Silver Star Black on Black with rosewood fretboard versus a 79 Tokai Silver Star Sunburst white pickguard, maple fretboard? Both are in good condition, different logos 79 has Spaghetti logo, 83 has Script. 83 is in a little better shape but not by much!

Honestly, if you have a chance to play them both, i would pick the one that feels and sounds the best. I'm sure you've heard that a million times though.

Sooooo, i would pick the '79 just cause it would almost be as old as me and the whole black thing doesnt work for me on strat type guitars.

go for the one with the 4-bolt neck ands no bullet truss-rod

Peter not sure what you mean by the Truss Rod, but know what the four bolt means.

I like the 79 more than the 83 but I played the 83 so I might get them both.
