Awesome set up Joe. I see your little MG there in the pic. What a difference! I don't think you'll ever go wrong buying a laney. Nice one.

You can't go far wrong with that setup!

I'd highly recommend you get yourself a HotPlate (or similar attenuator), that way, you can set the Master Volume on 10 for some gorgeous power valve distortion. Works for my JCM800!

Yeah..... get a hotplate..... and fry your transformer.

Crazy Joe. You need to make sure this amp is running at 100% all the time. That means regular servicing. These run toroidal transformers and run pretty hot so you are probably looking at around 350v to 400v across the plates. It may be an idea to get a good amp tech to put some protection in the amp for you. Basically to stop harm occuring to the transformer. Only use good quality matched tubes for this kiddo. The higher the rating the better as this amp can sound pretty scratchy at low volumes.

Don't know where you are in the UK but have a chat with Jesse Hoff at

or here

He's in Guilford and works for Chandlers 2 days a week. Tell him the man down under sent you.
