Mike,

I 've thought just the same - unbelievable !!!!    :-?

... he must have a depot to keep all this stuff ... !

... and a company of people to keep that clean ! :-?

Oh Christ, do I feel like a lightweight after that lot.

x 2 and then some LOL !!

But look on the bright side, they must cost a lot to insure..........that doesn't make me feel any better darn..............

Spangled you have an awesome list of equipment there - it reads like a whose who of classic guitars and amps - is it possible to single out a particular favourite?

Thank's Roger and Bruce, I don't feel quite so bad about my three guitars, two amps, treble boost and wah pedal now. :(

If I start a list it will have to include guitar cable's, stands and pick's to try and pad it out a bit.

I wonder if any of those guy's are married to French women? We live in a small flat and my wife's reaction to seeing my 20watt Plexi head was: - "It's collossal - where are you gonna put that?"

Alright then...

1997 Epiphone Dot (heavily modded, first decent guitar and I will never sell her)

Washburn HB35 (cheap and very well made for the lack of notes)

Greco EGC-600 Mint Collection Les Paul Custom (needs anew nut very soon, fretting out on open strings but feels brilliant)

1976 Ibanez 2457 (ES-345 clone... lovely guitar, refret planned for early next year)

Maya SG (70's copy, bolt-on, cost me about the same price as a good night out on the town and very playable indeed)

Maya 335 (set neck, excellent copy, in the process of beign done up)

Fender Precision Bass (decent Korean copy)

Maya J200 copy (superb, superb, superb, more Japanese brilliance)

Aquila acoustic guitar (a bit rare, again Japanese, needs a new nut cut and some neck work but lovely sounding and still just abotu playable. Another super-cheap bargain)

In the process of arriving...

One Orville ES-335 1958 edition (oh yes, big neck joy will be mine soon)

Another Ibanez 346 clone, this time with the split diamond on the headstock. Should be picking it up next week providing I can get time off work...

All of this go into NI's Guitar Rig 2 as I am not gigging now and have sold my amps in preparation for uni and travel next year. Pedalwise I don't have many, a lovely Aramat Green Machine for those Tube Screamer moments, a DB Designs fuzz pedal custom built from Ebay, an Arion chorus pedal, an MJM London Fuzz and that's the lot.

I don't insure them. Its not very feasible. The premiums would be high and in the end likely as not they wouldn't pay.

Oddly enough, I either play acoustic, or clean electric through very few effects!

favourites

Guild M30 - an upscaled M20 (the Nick Drake model), made for a very short time in the late 50's early 60's. Same sort of thing but a little more low end.

Gibson J50
Les Paul Custom

Fender Pro (like a 4-input Deluxe on steroids)

The little Gretsch 1x10 amp - one of the best small amps I've heard, clean or dirty.

The Champion 600 - 6" Jensens rule for low volume.

Oddly enough, the late model watkins Copicat is one of my favourite effects because it has a speed control. If you slow the tape right down you get longer repeats and a chorus-like effect. The "Custom Copicat" is the last of the valve models, but with a later (and better) transport.

My favourite fuzz pedal is the EH Hot Tubes (70's transistor version). Underestimated pedal, and not like anything else.

The recently acquired ES120 I'm very pleased with - particularly with replacement bridge and tail from Tonepros, rewire, new pots/switches, and Lollar Imperials. I had a 67 ES345 and this smokes it totally.

I have a Tokai Love Rock, 2004, glossy black and a lefty

I also have a Norman 6 string acoustic, a really nice guitar, another lefty.

I have a little Kustom practice amp that came with my Tokai. It's fine for at home and when I go to my weekly guitar lesson I plug into a nice big amp that lets me do lots of fun stuff :D

Don't worry about it. Some of these guys are seriously afflicted.

One of these days I'll type up a list but for now this'll have to do (just the guitars).....

I do not like Gibson guitars, but..... **** mate, this is a great collection.
Can I ask you where you put all this toys that I suppose have all a OHSC ? :D

ah but do you like Orville by Gibsons? or tokai's or greco's or navigators?

I like all this brands (Greco, Tokai and so on) but only Stratocaster !!! :p
But when I see collections like the one above, I have no word to say. Incredible !
If only could have place and money I would fill my home of guitars !
