In the serials above I thought there was a good chance that the first 0 after the K that's always in the serial numbers could stand for 1990 since the email I got back nailed one K sticker Orville to 1990.
But I had my doubts about the 5 digit production number following the first 0, YNNNNN, Y=year=0=1990, NNNNN=production number.
A 5 digit production number is a bit too high.
Also in relation to the Orvilles not having a K serial there seems to be a lot of K serial Orvilles for just one year.
But looking at the serials above I noticed that the 3rd column includes 9, 0, 1, 2, 3 and no other numbers.
Why isn't there a 4, 5, 6 or 7 ?
Maybe because not enough serials have been collected or because the 3rd column is a year.
Take away the K0 from the start of the serial number and you have

These numbers seem to be following the Gibson reissue format of Y NNNN Y=year, NNNN=production number.
The years range from 1988 to 1993.
8=1988, 9=1989, 0=1990, 1=1991, 2=1992, 3=1993.
So it might be that the K serial Orvilles are from 1988 to 1993 and follow the Gibson reissue serial number format.

Looking at orvilleowners list there are fewer non K serial Orvilles from 1990 to 1994 with 1991/1992 having none.
Most of them are from 1993 onwards.
So if the K serial Orvilles are from 1989 to 1993 they fit in with orvilleowners list of non K serial Orvilles.
