That looks like a nice set-in neck I wonder what kind of wood and finish it is?
They look capable of making a Tokai for sure.

Here are 3 more that I just came across. Not sure if they look like they would be doing Tokais but worth looking into.

The PLS 900 series looks like a Gibson/Tokai knockoff but not sure about the quality.

It turn out the one above is Silver Star.
"...SilverStar is the manufacturer of the Galveston brand. They're a
Korean OEM manufacturer"

The ULP 523 is very interesting.

I think production gets moved around according to demand and how busy they are.

Tokai MIK dont produce a lot of guitars compared to other brands.

I know who makes Tokai and Yamaha in China and thats Yipo. They make virtually all the Japanese brand base line models, but have been producing guitars for Yamaha for years.

There Tokais are pretty **** good as well.

ChuckD,

after a few days of distance and reconsidering I came to the result that my answer on your first posting was rather overdrawn ... :-?

I can only try to explain what let me (re-) act in that way, but it wouldn't really help actually ... I must have understood something wrong regarding the selection of answers from the outset and felt embarrassed in my freedom of expression ...
Obviously you wanted something totally different - something that I was not able to see at that moment ...

I regret my baseless offenses and apologize for my mistake in my utterances and my malpractice ...
