Still trying to thin the herd, but ...

1980 Tokai LS-50 Reborn Old with impressive no-flame maple top
2004 Tokai ES-100 in red (my latest flame, although it also has none)

3 Tokai Silver Stars
Mar Heifner Mojocaster (FrankenStrat with Van Zandts and cool folk art)
1997 Fender Hendrix Tribute Strat
Warmoth Strat body and neck I haven't gotten around to yet

1958 Guild T100D - again, no flame
GirlBrand "Uranium Girl" model Tele with weird, shiny Fibreglas top
FrankenTele with Goncalvo Alves neck and Peavey EVH humbuckers
Scala custom Strat with leather top & flamed (hate it) maple pickguard
Cheap Dano reissue
El Cheapo vintage Kay plank and canoe paddle
Even cheaper Gretsch Travelin' Wilburys

nice dulcimer bought in a parking lot for no good reason
Guild JF30-12 in transparent red (no flame at all)
Martin OOOC1E with nice, non-dazzling spruce top

Mutant bass with BC Rich neck, Kawai teakwood body and active EMGs
Fender Japan (Tokai?) Aerodyne Jazz Bass in Candy Apple Red
1968 Fender P-Bass, refinned natural, made fretless ala Jaco (not by me)

Ampeg B-1 bass combo
Fender Vibrolux Reverb reissue in blonde Tolex
1971 Fender silverface Vibrochamp
Ridiculous, tiny Japanese Harmony transistor amp with blue vinyl, sparkly grill bought at yard sale
Smokey practice amp in purple

Klotz Alamo 3-meter guitar cable (yes!)
Dunlop Big Stubbys - 3 mm thick (yes! yes!)

Still foolishly lusting for expensive amp (Swart Atomic Space Tone or Headstrong L'il King Reverb)

Here goes...

Tokai LS70F Violin Burst (MIJ)
Tokai ATE55 Red (MIJ)
Tokai Rockinbetter 12 string (excellent too for a MIK!)

Fender 2006 MIM Standard Strat (main gig guitar - they now are fitted with Med Jumbo frets and are a good deal)
Fender Lite Ash Strat (Black finish birds eye maple neck- superb MIK build and spec for the money)
Fender MIM Deluxe Player Strat Blue Ash body, rosewood neck (Ebay bargain with the Noiseless pickups)
Fender MIM Olympic White Rosewood neck 70's reissue (for Bridge of Sighs moments...)
Fender Lite Ash Tele (as above...Natural finish birds eye maple neck)
Fender FMT Telecaster (as above, factory fitted SD hums w/coil taps, polished frets, mahogany/flamed maple - a bargain)
Fender MIM Nashville Telecaster
(Sorry - I love Tele's for their simplicity!!!!)
Line 6 Variax 300 (in a new body...with Strat neck, a vast improvement on decent electronics in a cheapo basic guitar)
Gordon Smith GS2 (handbuilt in Manchester) - backup for the LS70F on "Les Paul only" occasions. A great basic no-frills guitar
PRS SE Custom - don't really get on with this, body is very heavy, not as nice as the Tokai LS70F. Likely to be an Ebay casualty soon!
Gibson SG Special - fitted with two SD Phat Cats, this is produces a great sound through the valve amps - "Tommy" era Townshend
Gibson SG Standard - bought in a sale for a bargain price, spends most of it's life in case though...
Jim Reed Ash Jazz Bass clone

Boss SD1 - MIJ original
Boss SD1 - modified new one
Boss SD2 Dual Overdrive (MIJ - rare now)
Boss CE2 & CE3 (all original)
Home made treble booster (Rangemaster copy - Ebay NOS Mullard transistors)
Home made Fuzz Face clone (Ebay NOS AC128 Ge transistors)
Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive
Voodoo Labs Micro Vibe (Hendrix/Trower/Gilmour....)
MXR Dyna Comp (recent model)
Marshall Compressor (Ebay bargain)
Vox V847 and Clyde McCoy Wah's
Boss PW10 Wah (gig wah)
Boss TU2 and other tuners
Line 6 Tonelab UX2
EH Mini Q-Tron - great for Bass a la Flea/Bootsy Collins
TC Electronic M300 reverb (brilliant - forget Behringers, this is around the same price. Will be upgrading to the G-Major at the end of the year)
Pedalboard - hard wired true bypass loops built in for the "buffered" pedals like Boss.

Laney VC30 - decent speaker fitted, still use from time to time
Couple of low wattage handbuild valve amps by Chris Uff (from Essex) - 5w single EL84 head used at home, 7w single EL34 head occasional gig amp plus just taken delivery of an 18w Marshall clone (2xEL84) with tone stack bypass- will be tested with the LS70 on Saturday!!!!
Marshall 1x12 Cab (MDF - good Celestion speaker fitted though)
Award-Session 2x10 Cab (ply - two decent Celestions fitted)
Lne 6 Spider 2 (backup gig amp - function band)
Borrowed 1973 Marshall 4x12 - belongs to the band and the cab I use at most gigs - speakers replaced as old Greenbacks blown long ago...
Vox VT30 Valvetronix 1x10 - great for around the house, speaker changed for Celestion, much better
Awaiting delivery - Vox 212BN 2x12 Cab (a bargain in the UK if you have two decent 12's spare, under ?150 for a ply cabinet)

But look on the bright side, they must cost a lot to insure..........that doesn't make me feel any better darn..............

Spangled you have an awesome list of equipment there - it reads like a whose who of classic guitars and amps - is it possible to single out a particular favourite?

Thank's Roger and Bruce, I don't feel quite so bad about my three guitars, two amps, treble boost and wah pedal now.

If I start a list it will have to include guitar cable's, stands and pick's to try and pad it out a bit.

I wonder if any of those guy's are married to French women? We live in a small flat and my wife's reaction to seeing my 20watt Plexi head was: - "It's collossal - where are you gonna put that?"

Alright then...

1997 Epiphone Dot (heavily modded, first decent guitar and I will never sell her)

Washburn HB35 (cheap and very well made for the lack of notes)

Greco EGC-600 Mint Collection Les Paul Custom (needs anew nut very soon, fretting out on open strings but feels brilliant)

1976 Ibanez 2457 (ES-345 clone... lovely guitar, refret planned for early next year)

Maya SG (70's copy, bolt-on, cost me about the same price as a good night out on the town and very playable indeed)

Maya 335 (set neck, excellent copy, in the process of beign done up)

Fender Precision Bass (decent Korean copy)

Maya J200 copy (superb, superb, superb, more Japanese brilliance)

Aquila acoustic guitar (a bit rare, again Japanese, needs a new nut cut and some neck work but lovely sounding and still just abotu playable. Another super-cheap bargain)

In the process of arriving...

One Orville ES-335 1958 edition (oh yes, big neck joy will be mine soon)

Another Ibanez 346 clone, this time with the split diamond on the headstock. Should be picking it up next week providing I can get time off work...

All of this go into NI's Guitar Rig 2 as I am not gigging now and have sold my amps in preparation for uni and travel next year. Pedalwise I don't have many, a lovely Aramat Green Machine for those Tube Screamer moments, a DB Designs fuzz pedal custom built from Ebay, an Arion chorus pedal, an MJM London Fuzz and that's the lot.

I don't insure them. Its not very feasible. The premiums would be high and in the end likely as not they wouldn't pay.

Oddly enough, I either play acoustic, or clean electric through very few effects!

favourites

Guild M30 - an upscaled M20 (the Nick Drake model), made for a very short time in the late 50's early 60's. Same sort of thing but a little more low end.

Gibson J50
Les Paul Custom

Fender Pro (like a 4-input Deluxe on steroids)

The little Gretsch 1x10 amp - one of the best small amps I've heard, clean or dirty.

The Champion 600 - 6" Jensens rule for low volume.

Oddly enough, the late model watkins Copicat is one of my favourite effects because it has a speed control. If you slow the tape right down you get longer repeats and a chorus-like effect. The "Custom Copicat" is the last of the valve models, but with a later (and better) transport.

My favourite fuzz pedal is the EH Hot Tubes (70's transistor version). Underestimated pedal, and not like anything else.

The recently acquired ES120 I'm very pleased with - particularly with replacement bridge and tail from Tonepros, rewire, new pots/switches, and Lollar Imperials. I had a 67 ES345 and this smokes it totally.
