I have a Greco SE 500 strat. When the truss rod is turned clockwise what direction does it move the neck in? My neck is too convex, hump in middle of fretboard causing fret buss. Anyone shed some light in this for me? Tips? Thanks.

As we say in Texas, "Righty - tighty, Lefty - Loosey"

I still say that once in awhile if I'm not sure.......guess it's because I'm blonde too

Me Too (say that once in a while, I mean).

As for the truss rods, think of it this way: it's there to counteract the pull of the strings (which is trying to bow the neck). Since you have a hump, you want to loosen the truss rod so that the strings can pull the neck to reduce that hump.
