From what I can gather it’s a ST60 due to the custom gold paint. Bridge pickup is a Seymour Lil 59, but I have the original. Recently setup and plays like a dream! Lots of references on various forums. Same username used since 1998 so I’m easy to checkout. $850

Hi Bikerdude2,

The reason I asked for the body code is the gold doesn't look right to me.
1981 had 1 gold finish - and this one seems closer to Fender Aztec Gold or even Gibson GoldTop.
It could be the light however - but a check of the body code would certainly clear it up. It will be found under the middle pickup or in the control cavity.

Do you have a pic of the original pickup please? Does it have any markings?

I just had to set up done and new strings put on the guitar so I’m not in a hurry to remove the strings to pull the pickguard yet. I will once I add another to the rotation. Currently have my 1980 Springy sound at another location so Goldie is my go to right now.
