I doubt you'd worry too much about the rosewood/maple difference if you played this guitar, Luis.
As I said, I was an affirmed Gibson only man until I got the Springysound. Then I properly checked out a Telecaster and that finally did it!
Yes Em, I'll post some pics asap, one is a really old Breezysound. |

Talking of posing images of the Telecasters, does anyone know the best image hosting for this site? I've just finished painting a "Fool" SG for someone and I fancied getting some opinions on it here. It was done on an '85 Tokai SG. |

It doesn't hurt the tone.
There are replacement waterslide decals out there. |

Hi orys, yes you can buy the decals for £10-15 on eBay. I intended to do that butnever bothered because you can see the ghost of the original logo and lettering when you turn it into the light, you can even read the small "Springysound" etc. type clearly. So for me it never really was an issue, I kind of like it like that actually cos it keeps people guessing, until they look close! There are so many other aspects to this particular guitar that outway that factor, it's feather-light and sounds killer. It's in immaculate condition too and it's been set up by Martin Booth and plays superbly. But I'm a Telecaster guy now, that's all I play these days. |
