Hey there guys.

New user here. Purchased my first Tokai Guitar today after getting back playing from a 10 year absence.

As I have never owned a Tokai guitar before I was a unsure which model to buy.

After many hours reading how to spot fakes I am still unsure if the guitar I have bought from Gumtree is genuine. It doesn't have any letters before the numbers on the serial number and the made in china is just a sticker on back of the headstock/

I bought this SG 50S guitar and have added some photos if someone in the know could tell me whether this is genuine or not I'd be really grateful

Thanks

taken from an ebay review;
then the fake sg's that are popping up with the Tokai name on them.
there is a few dishonest dealers in Canada that were passing these off as the real deal.
the dead giveaway is the headstock shape, it is not identical to the open book headstock commonly used.
the headstock that is used looks like a cross between a dillion and a epiphone.
