Hey guys! I'm new to the forum, and need a little help.
I just bought a used UES 60, and I'm wondering how old it is and where it's from. The guy said it was from the beginning of the 2000's, and was made in china, but he bought it from someone too, so he wasn't sure.
It has CN10100426 printed on the back of the headstock, and a sticker in the f-hole saying:
"Style: UES 60 SB
Number: 102648" and something with Tokai guarantee, Hamamatsu, Japan

Hoping somebody can help :)

Marcus, what other designations are there on these to indicate Japanese made etc?

The most basic identifiers are any CH, CN, etc serials are China and MIJ trussrod covers will have two screws - anything other than that is not MIJ.
