Can anyone help me to date a Jazz Sound bass with serial number L10962. It is probably around early 80s. Can I also assume that it is Japanese built. There is also a black oval sticker on the back of the neck down near the neck pocket which has the number 50 on it. |

Ok, I have found out that the bass in question was made in Japan in 1984 and is a JB50. |

Here's the bass in question that I have just purchased. A rather nice 1984 JB50.

Very nice!
How is the neck on that, slim narrow or thick and wide?
Does it have a "skunk stripe" on the neck back? _________________ I heard they threatened Tokai with a lawsuit, but they never got to Cort? |
