Wow, and I don't even edit that category...

http://dmoz.org/Arts/Music/Instruments/Stringed/Guitar/Electric/

The ODP is the largest web site directory edited by humans (not robots) on a non-commercial basis, i.e. the editors work for free there. Well-known search engines like Google use their database (also for free) to create their directory services.

Usually the visitors who want to have their site listed submit them either directly in the ODP or through e.g. Google's directory. Or the editor for the category (or the higher ones) simply adds it if it fits in.

OK, now I am the editor for that category and updated the description of this site a bit. Furthermore I forwarded the direct link to the forum to the editor of http://dmoz.org/Arts/Music/Instruments/Stringed/Guitar/Chats_and_Forums/ which should be added there, too.

Google says only GuitarGeek and The Gretsch Pages have a better site ranking than the Tokairegistry...

http://directory.google.com/Top/Arts/Music/Instruments/Stringed/Guitar/Electric/

And WTF is Harmony Central?

Constantly striving for world domination I also applied for the ODP category for Chats and Forums, and today I became an editor there, too.

If you know other guitar forums that should be added there (more than 100 users), please post them here. I'll add the Boogie, Epiphone, Ibanez, Matsushita etc. forums soon, too.
