I wish I had thicker strings to better handle the tension and not be sloppy in the lows but I had a lot of ducks in a row.

Tokai was a VC-75.

I used it because of the longer scale, bolt on and had a SD JB installed.

Thanks. That was fun. I just attempted another one. INXS I need you tonight:

Working my way through the video and saw your picture of Marc Singer and Tanya Roberts on your wall. Is it signed? I met Marc and he is a really nice guy. Also met Robert Englund and he signed my photo Willie the good alien!!

Anyway back to guitars, INXS used Tokai Talbo (Tokai Aluminium Body) so before checking your video for a mention this may be one of the reasons for a very clean sound however I would check out the video for the song to see what guitars they are playing as I would have remembered a Talbo in there.

Yep I could not remember which Tokai he used. But in the studio the producer said "fender guitars" and I could not find anything more specific.

So my MIJ fender was perfect. I did have to use a different Japanese fender copy strat (Electra) for one of the tones because the MIJ only has a 3 way pickup switch.

And yes the Beastmaster pic is signed. Haha. I have a Robert Englund signed pic too. Not only were the guitars and amps better, the movies were too.

Yep!

Speaking of beasts. I just did another sounds alike with the Tokai.

I tried to recreate the Exodus & Andy Sneap studio setup...
