I assume you are referring to your pickup post? the answer is that there is no real way of knowing for sure...

Really! I am surprised.
So, pups as photo could be authentic as shown?
No grey rear with "U" or waxed fabric sleeves not unusual?

I know nothing about silver stars or the pups in them, i know springys had U and E stamped grey backs, but in the silver stars, over the years and over the different models, they used a lot of different pups, and there were a lot of years and a lot of models...
