I've been obsessing lately and on the prowl for a 70s style sunburst Strat (big head, either 3 or 4 neckscrews - don't really care) with rosewood board (MIJ of course)...
As I've not seen any Silver Stars that would fit my wishes and my budget simultaneously - I was wondering if any of you knowledgeable folk have owned a Greco SE-700 Early Sixties (though it looks more like early 70s) and how they compare with Silver Stars? Price-wise (when new) it would have slotted between SS60 and SS80 but do you think the quality is commensurate in comparison with Tokai?
