Hi group, new member first post. I've been collecting Japanese guitars for a couple years now, mostly Greco's, 5 of them, and a 1978 LS 60, my first Tokai. My question is regarding my newest guitar, I just purchased a 1980 Les Paul Reborn 120 solid top, I keep seeing post that say that all or nearly all 120's are laminate. I just want second opinions regarding my guitar as I am a newb to Tokai's. I believe I read that there are no documented 120 solid tops so I'm confused. Thanks in advance.

yours is a laminate top not a solid top centre seam does not match up and no flame in the cavity..

Thanks guys, appreciate the input. It has Bareknuckle p/u's, cts pots, luxee bumblebees and 50's wiring . I have all the original components as well.
Any estimate to it's value, I got it seriously cheap, 1300 shipped on reverb through an offer so I'm pretty sure I did well on it. I actually found a reciept in the case with the sellers name on it with a purchase price of 2440 in August of this year. Guess he was desperate for cash. Condition is an 8 I'd say b/b+. The only issue is the finish on the neck back has worn down to the wood by the lower binding.
