Hi,
I have a Tokai LS160S which I bought about 10 years ago. It was the top of the line model at the time and has been my main guitar ever since.
I would like to get me a second one which I can load with different pickups (Antiquities) and string it with 12s instead of 11s ... anyway ... It should be of equal quality (top hardware, nitro finish, one piece body would be nice, not too heavy ...) but I am confused with all the model names. i know it has been renamed LS165S at a time but there might be older models with lower numbers and now there is an LS1-R6 which seems to be nice too.
I just want to get the best guitar possible because I already have a great one which I will always compare it to. Which models/years would you suggest?
