hey guys!

i have an old tokai gold top love rock model which plays and sounds great, but i don't play LPs that often anymore.

here are the specs:

SERIAL #:
9002261

so according to the internet it was build in JP in 1979!?

i looked through the old catalogues i found online
(http://www.tokairegistry.com/tokai-info/tokai-catalogs.html#1979)

and in the catalogue for '79 i found my guitar (bottom left corner)
http://www.tokairegistry.com/images/catalogs/79tokai_lp01.jpg

so it seems to be a LS-80 GT model!?!?

if i really decide to sell it, what would be a fair price?
(condition is very good)

can anyone help?
just 3 pics taken without much thinking:

its not 79 as love rocks did not start until 1980, and its not an LS-80 as it does not have fret binding, so yours is a 1990 model and probably a TLS 50 model.

thank you! :)

question:
what do you mean with it doesn't have fret bindings...my guitar? or the LS80 model?
mine does have fret bindings, and from the pics i found online from the LS-80GT it seems to have bindings too.

PS:
i'm gonna reopen the post in the "tokai-guitars" section, since it doesn't belong here :)

villager is talking about nibs:
