Knobs are okay.... some of the early cherry models had black knobs:

Those knobs are not original Marcus, I changed pots, pickups and tuners too. Can't remember what knobs she had originally.

Sorry I've been away from this thread for a while, have I misunderstood or was this guitar once yours Duff ? I've sold it on now but it was bought from vintage and rare in bath as an original one. Is that not the case then ?

you misunderstood.. i have 3 but they are not going anywhere. The knobs aren't original, i believe they all came with the amber ones. But cherry ones do look better with the black bell knobs so who cares
