hi, is anyone familiar with Morris Les Paul Deluxe guitars from mid seventies? I received one offer, guitar looks great (mini humbuckers) but not lots of information on web. Seller is located too far from me so I can't see and try guitar.
Any info - I would me more than glad.

set neck. As far as I found info - till '75 electric guitars were quite bad, nothing special, all woth set neck. Those two are from that years. Than they changed production an from 75 guitars are something completely different, people are saying some good words about those guitars. But: you know, if you don't try it, you don't know Price is fair comparing to Gibson deluxe but still too much for a bad piece. I'm looking for Deluxe with mini humbuckers for quite some time, mostly in trades. But Gibson from 70's and 80's are quite expensive so MIJ would be a great option but I didn't find any MIJ manufacturers to build Deluxe with mini humbuckers till Morris. _________________ http://www.highendguitars.eu |

They are dang hard to find. I have what I believe is an Aria Pro II LD700 Deluxe.
Pancake body, 3 piece neck but a small headstock and 2 piece top instead of the usual 3 piece.
Every bit as good as the 3 early 1970's Gisbon Deluxe I've owned.
Here is a video with it from my old youtube. There are a few more there if you look around.

I say go for the Morris Deluxe and I hope it's a good one. _________________ I heard they threatened Tokai with a lawsuit, but they never got to Cort? |

thank you, that Aria looks great. I actually didn't know that Japan guitar makers built deluxe guitars in seventies. Great info.
I think I'll go for Morris, if I'll buy it I'll provide info from first hand _________________ http://www.highendguitars.eu |
