I've been looking at a Tokai Love Rock very similar to my own 1981 model, but it's obviously not original. The knobs are chrome knurled, similar to PB and I don't think the pick up surrounds are original.
The headstock and truss rod cover don't seem quite right either.
It has a 6 digit serial number stamped on the back of the headstock which is 083290.
Any help identifying or dating this would be greatly appreciated, before I end up with either a fake, or a late Chinese.
