1st Fender Japanese Vintage guitar convention will be held in rehearsal room 8 at Absolute Music, Knighton Heath Estate, 855 Ringwood Road, Bournemouth, BH11 8NE on 27th February 2016 11am-4pm.

Anyone is welcome who has an interest in Japanese made Fenders and their early history, a talk will be given on this subject at 1pm. If you have a Japanese Fender with a JV serial number you are welcome to bring it along and discuss your guitar with other enthusiasts.
As we are being given the venue free of charge by Absolute Music it would be inappropriate for any guitar sales to take place, and might jeopardize and such future events.

I think a more general "MIJ" convention with guitars grouped by brands would be amazing. Something in collaboration with other forums would attract a good crowd and give everyone a great opportunity to check all sorts of guitars...maybe even sell/trade on site at the end of the event.

I'd happily bring a pair and a little Yam THR5 for people to try my LS150 and an elitist.
