Doesn't the 'OS' in the pickup cavity mean 'Old Sunburst'?

This one had a refinish on the top when the switch holes were filled.
The gent selling it said it was done at the Tokai factory, but I sure don't believe it was.
It also has Dimarzio Super Distortions instead of P.A.F.'s.
I think everything else is correct with it and it has the original case too.

Yes, this one had a few issues, but thanks to all the great help and info here I had a good idea what I was looking at. All in all a dang nice piece of wood and a real winner in my opinion.

After a jam or two I'll know if I can get along with the Super Distortions.
If not I have an old patent sticker humbucker or a pair of Gisbon tarbacks out of a '71 SG I might try in it.

Anybody figured out a good way to re-glue the covering on a peeling vintage case?
Any ideas of best glue and method appreciated.

Depends on how much peeling you're dealing with. For corners or seams, I just us Lock Tite brand superglue - the gel, not the watery version.

The peeling isn't real bad but I'd like to fix it before it rips or something.
I'll give that glue a try, thanks.
