Does the paint residue in both neck pocket and neck mean this guitar is still all original, neck and body factory fitted? A pair so to speak, no partscaster?

I'd say it's original if i had to guess. Even so far as the shim. |

+1 hell yes.
Gotta love that shim!
I suppose there is the remote possibility that the guitar was re-finished early in its life, but I doubt it. _________________ Totally biased towards Japanese made guitars. |

Thanks for the input brokentoes and JVsearch.
PS I voted 'stupid question', don't want to affect the poll. |

I have a 78 black springy st 60 with E pickups a BB stamped Sen body, narrow neckplate and a neck stamped 50 not 60 at final fret, with neck and body sharing identical mirror image paint imprints. This is in my view an all original guitar like yours, not a partscaster. _________________ bluejeannot

Thanks for the input bluejeannot.
PS I'm also convinced (certain ) that it's all original.
I'll give the poll a few more days, and then further elucidate. |

As I already mentioned I'm pretty sure for not to say certain its all original, and here it comes: with codes that are way off.
Another example of an all original Tokai with non matching codes. They're out there.
PS thanks for voting guys. |
