Thirty years ago I went to get some strings at ESE Music in Maidstone, Kent and they had a second hand Paisley Tokai Tele on sale for about £200. I loved it and I wanted it but I was still doing my A levels and had about £25 to my name. I was forty eight years old on Friday and my wonderful wife got me a Paisley Tokai Breezysound. She had jokingly promised to get me one for my 50th but changed her mind and I got it early! It came with a tweed hard case and was in tune and set up nicely straight out of the box. It looks, feels and plays just great and, needless to say, I love it. Here's some pics:
