NGD Silver Star

Got a new to me Silver Star and I have a few questions - I know from the SN that it's a 1980 model, but which one? It's got the basic tuners and a three bolt neck, so does that make it an SS-36?

Also, if I want to upgrade the tuners, will any f-style do or are there specific ones that match the screw hole spacing?

Thanks Felixcatus. I'm really enjoying it; it's got a great neck and at 8.3 lbs isn't a boat anchor.

Any recommendations on tuner upgrades that fit the original screw holes?

Really nice burst on that one, congrats!

Unfortunately I don't have the answers about the tuners, but would really like to know that for myself since I get GAS from time to time on a SS with a nice burst like this.
