Hi yes i tapped the nut out and reversed it , seems original too, essex

Hi,

The paper shim is not original to the best of my knowledge. It would have been added to allow for a deeper pitch and lower action.

Also this body has 'Springysound' routing that was used on all Springy and Goldstar models until 1986. After that the routing changed slightly.
I look forward to seeing the finished guitar.

the neck had been set up to play right handed .so if you have swapped the nut around you will need to change it back .
