I am selling a Tokai golden era LS-50 made (1981).
It was selected inbetween four by myself.

This guitar has some special features as:

New accurate kluson turners Deluxed stamped as originals.
New bone nut.
Philadelphia Luthiers creme rings (brand new).
Switchcraft USA switch.
Old style braided wire.
Centralab (134 code) pots with special taper just like originals.
Tall tophat knobs 60s.
Russian PIO caps specially matched to the guitar.

Perfect 3,65/3,7 kg. weigth on my scale,
It has developed some curve on the neck inbetween 4-7 frets but still playable hence the special price.
Perfect gigging guitar because such great weight and sound.

It comes with a quality gigbag with neck support.

Very interested.
Can it still be set with a low action without buzzing ? i.e. strings close to the frets, despite the weird curve of the neck between fres 4-7.

Which pickups on this beauty ? What kind of finish, poly or nitro ? And finally, how much delivered in France ?

Thanks.

Hello Izzy.

LS-50 model is obviousyl very thin poly finish. Tokai is well known for that kind of finish.
The pickups are Gotoh original coming with the guitar. I can offer some Ellitst pickups with no aditional charge instead if you prefer, or a Duncan 59/Distorion 4 conductor set with a fair upcharge.
The strings are low enough to my taste and sounds good.
Price asked I gues iis the right one for this model.y
I guess delivery would be around 75 euro depending on the urgency to arrive.

Let me know if we have a deal and I will add some NOS russian 0.022 PIO caps for free.

I don't know why I expected lacquer or nitro finish on a LS50.
No doubt this is a sweet deal, but I was really expecting a lacquer/nitro finish with a Tobacco sunburst and I hesitate to sell my Edwards E Jr 95LT to buy your Tokai LS50.
I have a 1981 LS80 and it's my best Les Paul, with my Edwards Pure Material.
Though I could sell my Bacchus BLS56-120 also...

Ma Bacchus BLS56-120 has been for sale for one week now in France. Some people interested, but it's pretty tough to sell guitars in France at the moment.

Used guitars and gear are too expensive in France, that's why
