I know this is a bad comment.. but I really like the case!

Of course, the guitar is snazzy too!

Very special specs on the finish of this guitar.

No pore filler on the wood and slight gloss (SG) Nitro finish.
Colour is Honey Burst...

Killer!!!

I much prefer the Black cases, and they're half the price.

You got to love the internet guitar forums.

And, discussion of the year 2014 goes to the thread about changing pickups.

That is interesting looking finish. You can see the pattern in the pic of the headstock.

I'd wanted a newer model Tokai to go along with the'80 and this one really seemed like the way to go. Killer playah!

Yes indeedy... it comes stock with a set of Lindy Fralin Pure PAFs...

Word has it that the guitar was specifically designed around that set of pickups as Tokai did a few times before with their LS-LTD-THC (sporting Tom Holmes Pickups) and the LS-LTD-The Mule (with Bare Knuckle's Mules). So tops, finishes, electronics, caps, etc. were all chosen that that sounded best with those specific pickups. Exactly how this was done, I have no idea.

It is an interesting concept and while I'm not really sure about the dynamics of designing a Love Rock/Les Paul model with certain pickups in mind... I do know that I played it and it played, sounded and looked awesome... so the fact that she followed me home was kinda nice...
