Professionally engineering Matamp Spirit Amp with built in attenuator. 12AX7 Preamp Valve and 6V6 Power Valve



Point to point hand wired



I've changed the on lamp light to a 50's style jewel one since this photo.




Made from new old stock 30 year old Tokai Japan solid ply cabinets

Aren't the Tokai amps solid state? If they have tube versions I bet they sound nice.

Beautiful work on that one btw! Bet it sounds nice.

Yes they are solidstate. I meant I look for a fender champ type replica if something like this exists

Yes, the Tokai versions were solid state and had a small spring reverb. They were called a TA35. I used to have one see below for a side by side comparison

The speaker in the TA35 shown on the right above was not original, I tried it out as it was a 50's Celestian with an Alnico magnet.
