Hey. I've got two 2x12 cabs with two 16ohm 65W speakers in each. Problem is my amp (Peavey Classic 50) only has a single 16ohm and 8ohm output. I want to take the four speakers and put them into a single 4x12 cab so I can run them from a single cable into my amp
Now at the moment the output is 16ohms from a single cab. I know if I am running both cabs together then it comes to 8ohm parallel output. So, when I connect the four speakers in a single cab, will the output be 8ohm or 16ohm?
Also does anyone have any links that can help me in building the cab. Need to get hold of metal corners, wheels, handles, fabric etc as well so any links to some supplies?
Finally any tips on what wood to use?
Thanks
Darren
