Do you guys think these Excel pickups and electronics were used in the SE-800 Strat?

I have a 1979 SE-800 with non original pickups:

Would be cool to get the originals.

Thanks,

Andy

Those look right to me... I've owned three Super Real SE800's.

Good luck!

The pickups in that picture are from a 1976 strat, pickguard has a 1976 maxon date code.

The Super Real era pickups were still made by maxon but look a bit different.
There were 2 different types of pickups: PU-S5 (used on SE-500 and SE-450) and PU-S8 (used on SE-600 and SE-800)

So you?d need to have pickups from a Super Real era SE-600 or SE-800. (look for the date code on the pickguard, 2nd digit is the year)
The maple neck SE-800 Super Real also featured a painted aluminium pickguard originally.

This is a pickup from my 1981 SE-600

I have two of these Excel pickups.
Mine are a bit smaller than real strat pickups, a tad undersized.
There is "excel" written at the back like yours. There is not that much information about these, some Excel PUs are smaller other seem to have the Fender size if I'm not mistaken.
The DC resistance is in the 6K range.

Just out of curiosity if anyone has information about these pickups it is more than welcome!
