Anybody's guess. Springies are on offer at absurdly high prices but I don't think many are sold for the prices asked. Personally, I have paid around ?400 - ?450 for absolutely mint orginal examples.

I managed to pick up a '79 ST-85 (a much higher model) in need of attention, albeit all-original for well under ?400. See this thread for the restoration:

Your's isn't all original which is a shame, and the decal's missing. It's the sort of thing I would buy and restore, PM me if you would like to sell.

BTW , looking at the serial, I believe this is a 1980.

suki, can you explain to me what part of the guitar is not original, besides the bridge pick up?

btw, thanks guys. really big help on the info.
if there are any upgrades that you could suggest that would be great \m/

Just the bridge pickup. Getting a replacement original U bridge one is quite difficult. Other than that, the decal which I think would go underneath the lacquer for this year.

No "Tokai" on the back of the machines. I thought they all had that. Pretty sure my ST80 from 1980 does.

Re silly prices, yeah - I paid "?80 inc HSC for mine new in 1980!

Mind you, so many have been butchered over the years, finding an all original one is getting hard.
|I did change the back cover on mine to make fast string changes easier, but of course I still have the original.
So pleased to see you still got the original pickup, OP.
Enjoy your springy.
