Hi guys, saw this on aussie gumtree and was wondering if anyone had played one before and if you know anything about them? Its apparently an 80s mij tokai limited edition? As usual, its in another state so I cant play it http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/cook-area/guitars-amps/tokai-limited-edition-stratocaster-vintage-model-happy-to-post-/1049747611)

Hi, welcome to the forum. That guitar is not 80's vintage, looks new Chinese made. Body is plywood, not that there's anything wrong with that it's just not worth anywhere near $399.

With regard to the genuine 80's Tokai Strats, they are among some of the best strats ever made.
