Album comes up private when I try to view it

Hi Joel,
could be a model # 2393. I own an Ibanez 1978 catalogue.
Detachable neck, hollow top, mahogany body, mahogany neck & maple f'board.
'Ibanez' should be in italics and has the Gibson 'Super 400 / LPC ' Diamond inlay. The script was changed in 1979 ti a more block style. the inlay was also changed to a elongated double V thing????
Super 70 pickups, chrome hardware, etc.
I owned a #2350WH for a while before trading it in on a Gibson.

Hi Peter, might well be. Here are some pictures that are not private.

Hi Joel,

That is the #2393.
The mahogany top was 'curved' over the flat mahogany body, so if you tap behind the tailpiece with your fingernail, you can hear the hollow chamber between top and body.
All Ibanez LP of this era with bolt-on necks had this feature - including my #2350WH.
regards
Peter

Looks like someone destroyed the logo and painted the back of the headstock to make it a stinger?

IMHO in perfect condition it may be a $500 guitar. Like that I wouldn't go over $300. That's assuming it has the case.

Good luck!

That's fine as I bought it with the headstock painted over finding cigarette burns underneath. I only paid $130 for it as a wreck and another $35 to get it in working condition and that's in Australian. Thanks

That's right. It is from 1978.
My 1976 #2350WH had the Moustache headstock and 'Super 400' inlay, just like a Gibson LPC.

In 1978, it changed to this....

That '76 I traded in for a 1970 Gibson LPC in the same colour.
