I need your help again...

I'm confused if this is a TE-280 or a TE-300

I know the board is maple but i have no clue on the body wood if it's basswood or plywood or mahogany

I've got a hunch that this is just a $300 guitar...

Your thoughts are highly appreciated...

 
Couldn't you peek inside the control cavity or under the scratchplate to see what kind of wood was used ? I love how the headstock says Matsumoto on it..... way cool.

the trader backed off on me hahaha... what attracted me actually was not the age of the guitar but the maple fretboard... I always fancied maple boards...
