I had read somewhere that the DRY Zs are comparable to Ibanez Super 70s. Are they Maxxons?

I have never played them so am curious.

Still curious as to whether these are basically Super 70s?

Has anyone done a side by side of Dry Z and Super 70 pick-ups?

I know Ibanez phased out the Super 70s right around 1981 as well.

Is serial no. 214319? so the number for month is 43??
That doesnt look right according to:
"Greco pickup serial numbers consisting of 6 numbers from 1977 to 1982.

First number = Maxon Pickup code
Second number = Year (9=1979)
Third and Fourth number = Month (01=Jan ... 12=Dec)
Fifth and sixth number = Day of Month (01-31)"
