Does anyone know what an imprinted 120 in the fingerboard next to the neck pickup means? Does this make it a LS 120? The serial # starts with 000 so I have dated it to 1980.
Thanks

It means it's only worth $120. I'll give you $250

Thank you Dave. Since I just crowned and polished the frets, and changed the strings, it may be a long wait. I know it has the original Tokai wiring so I am pretty sure they are original pups. The bridge, however, is what I believe to be a current Gotoh. The guitar plays really nice and has a full sound, very similar to my Japanese Epiphones/Elitists. It's also not too heavy, I would say 9 lbs. tops.

From the only A-grade top I'd not judge for a LS120.
Rather for a LS80.
Show us a pic of the stamp...
