try ?500 .....see what happens.
Good luck!!!!!!!!!!

you offer him/her ?700 if you think its fair

I also wanted to know an average price...

I don?t know if it?s an average price, but I'm asking 750? for my dead mint(not played) LS80 HDC, production year 2010.

Actually, it was an LS92 in 2010.

Do you have a photo, I love the HDC colour, I haven't seen a 92 in that colour.
I've got a 98F HDC with zebra pickups incoming.

I think this one is called 80 because it?s from the UK market(ULS).

Wow, that HDC is a beautiful colour.

It's an old box, that's why it says 80. :)

So i went to try it yesterday.
The guitar is badly treated... has a few dings and the hardware is rusted.
Furthermore its very dirty ... how is it possible someone did not clean a guitar that is up for sale
Most importantly, it didn't played well. Needs a good setup.
The hard case is not the original, but a cheap one from thomann.
I can get it for 550 euros, but i'm not very convinced...

Vintage Series Tokais do not come with cases, the case is not included in the price.

That case you call "a cheap one from Thomann" is far better than the current Gibson or Tokai cases...that's 80 Euros on it's own.
Take that off 550 Euros and you're paying 470 Euros for an LS98F.

I don't see any rust in the photos you posted, maybe dirty or tarnished nickel, but I can't see rust.
I reckon that guitar with a pro setup and good clean up ends up being a killer Les Paul for 470 Euros.

I bought one recently which was in good condition apart from some tarnishing on the pick up covers.
Fabulous guitar, I've now just purchased my third Tokai, a 95q, I think they're that good. As said, give a good set up and clean and you have a great guitar.

Bloody hell - that's my handwriting on the box for the serial number!!
So would have come through us originally. And no, they do not have cases with them unless supplied by the retailer directly.

Brings back some memories.
